The "Sales" area offers a variety of key figures in the area of sales. In this section, four filter options have been implemented, which allow retrieving information based on different criteria. Under each dimension, the top value for that specific dimension is displayed.
In this example, the data for the Payment Service Provider is displayed in the dashboard, clearly indicated by the highlighted orange color.
Total Sales Volume
This KPI shows the net sales for the selected dimension, in this case the PSP provider. In this example, it can be seen that the PSP "SaferPay" has a sales volume of 2 million for the selected period.
Order Value
This key figure provides information about the ratio of order value to sales. The amounts of returns are deducted from this value. The "Order Value" therefore provides the value of the original orders minus the returned items.
Order Value = The "Order Value" represents the total value of orders, not including coupons, shipping charges, and additional costs. Only the value of the items is considered, not including sales tax. This is the net value!
Sales = The "Sales" value is calculated by subtracting the value of returned items (Return Value) from the "Order Value":
Payment Ratio = Transactions - Canceled Transactions.
This ratio measures the ratio of successful transactions to all transactions completed. The ratio of total transactions to those that are not canceled.
Average Shopping Cart
This metric measures the average shopping cart value for a given dimension, in this example the PSP. The value is calculated by dividing the net sales (excluding shipping costs and coupons) by the number of transactions. This gives the average shopping cart value for the dimension in question.
Trend
This KPI shows the trend of paid transactions compared to non-paid transactions. By clicking on the "Table" button, the information can be displayed in tabular form. The table shows the total number of transactions per day and the number of paid transactions.
Sales = total amount of goods sold
Transactions include all transactions made.
Paid transactions are transactions that have been successfully completed and have a capture.
Non-paid transactions are transactions that did not have a capture.
Success
The KPI shows the market share measured by sales. We use two scales for this: On the X-axis we have the "Happy Rate", which indicates how many transactions are rated as good. The Y-axis represents the share of good transactions in total transactions.
Calculation:
Order Value - Return Value
