What is Microsoft doing to comply with data protection and the GDPR?

Microsoft will comply with its obligations to all Customers under
the "Processing of Personal Data; GDPR" section of the Online Services Provisions and
the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation in Schedule 4 of the Online Services Provisions, effective 25 May 2018. The current version of the Online Services Rules is available at licensing
Microsoft provides the EU standard contractual clauses agreed with the EU Commission for all customers and thus assures that an appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed internationally. After the discontinuation of the Privacy Shield, the further legal development and the additional measures proposed by the supervisory authorities must be kept in mind. More information about GDPR
